1. How long will my wig/hair last?

Your wig/hair longevity is determined by your own maintenance & care. If maintained properly, it should be about 6 months before you would need what's referred to as a "Crown-Lift" which includes services such as adding hair, stitch reinforcement, closure or frontal swapping, adding or removing elastic bands/clips/combs or other repairs. Typically, if you wear your wig daily a more accurate time frame would be 3-4mo before you would need a Crown-Lift. Check our Crown Maintenance & Care section for maintenance & care instructions. Full lifespan of most CrownSolutions wigs are up to 3yrs with the right maintenance.

2. Can the wig be parted wherever I choose?

Full Lace crowns can be parted wherever you desire.

Lace Closure crowns can only be parted within the boundaries of the actual closure piece.

Lace Part Closure crowns have only a limited parting area which doesn't leave room for multiple parting locations. However, you can place your crown anywhere across your hairline, where you desire your part to be, depending on how your wig is styled.

Frontal Crown units can be parted anywhere across the hairline within the boundaries of the actual frontal piece.

Full Crown units cannot be parted without proper styling to avoid exposing the tracks.

3. Can my wig be sewn down to my braids?

Yes... Your crown can be sewn wherever there's a braid. If you don't have braids, it cannot be sewn down.

4. Can I wear my wig without it being sewn OR glued down?

Yes... Your crown can be worn whether you have sewn or glued it down.

5. What does Density mean?

Density refers to the thickness of your crown. More bundles add more density... the less the bundles, the less the density.

6. Can my wig be dyed?

Your crown/tresses can be dyed as long as it did not come colored already. All natural colored crowns/tresses can be dyed. All pre-colored crowns/tresses should not be dyed.

7. What do I do if my wig doesn't fit?

You are responsible for providing us with the correct sizing by using the measurement table located in the Cap Size section of our website. 
You can contact us (Using or contact form) to facilitate a return for a resize. Pricing will be given at that time.

If the sizing error is the fault of Crown Solutions, contact us to discuss compensation upon approval.

8. Where are you located?

We're located at 2829 W. 87th st in Evergreen Park Illinois. You must have an appointment.
